The fence posts of a 6x4 cm cross-section have a wide and practically universal usage in the installation of 2D and 3D fence panels. Their height should be matched with the size of the fence, though it should be a bit taller than the panels. A panel fence is very quick and easy to install by attaching the panels to the posts using the special clamps or installation clips. If you want to install a walk gate, use a post of this size, but with an additional rivet nut. All products are galvanised, some of them are additionally powder-coated.

Fence posts that are galvanised and powder-coated
The steel profiles, which are shaped into fence posts, are double-protected from corrosion and unfavourable weather conditions (such as low temperature, moisture, exposure to UV) already during the manufacturing process. The first step is galvanisation - melted zinc sticks to the steel surface and created a highly resistant coating which is impossible to remove. The powder coating process additionally strengthens the protection of steel, as well as adds the colour, which can be matched to the rest of the fence.
How to install fence posts on your property
There are two ways to install fence posts - by attaching them to the fence foundation or directly in the ground. In the first case, you need to create holes for the foundation and place there the ready-made prefabricates. The latter method is placing the posts directly in previously dug holes (best if you do it with a manual drill). In this method, remember to choose the right height of the post, bearing in mind that a part of it will be hidden in the ground. After placing them, the posts need to be levelled and the holes filled with concrete.
